If you thrive in a B2B technology and innovation-driven environment, enjoy handling inbound and outbound product marketing tasks, and want to impress and engage with data centers and IT professionals regarding top-tier rack power distribution products, join us The Product Marketing Specialist, as with all members of the Legrand Team, is expected to promote a positive work environment, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and personal awareness, exercise integrity, and maintain confidentiality./ppWhat Will You Do?/pulliTranslate technical features and product information into meaningful positioning statements and value messages that inform and engage customers, partners, and new market segments./liliCreate and manage technical marketing materials and website content, including sales and product collateral, landing pages, emails, product guides, FAQs, slide decks, and other enablement tools./liliSupport product management, engineering, digital/campaign/channel marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and feature releases./liliPerform market research to identify our ICPs needs, desires, and challenges./liliMonitor competitor positioning and messaging; develop strategies to respond to their messaging and marketing activities./liliSupport marketing and communications teams with product content for search strategies, including videos, knowledge base articles, white papers, tech notes, case studies, website copy, blog posts, and other enablement tools./liliOccasional US travel for in-person visits to our offices (in Reno, NV, and Somerset, NJ) as well as for off-site team meetings, industry events, and client meetings (usually within the US)./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications/pulliEducation: Bachelors degree from a four-year College or University with an emphasis in Product Marketing, Marketing/Communications, Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field, a plus; or equivalent certifications and work experience/liliProduct Marketing certification a plus (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Product Marketing Alliance, Product School, Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM) from AIPMM, etc.); or equivalent certifications and work experience/liliExperience: A minimum of 2-4 years in B2B inbound/outbound product marketing within a technology-focused environment, such as computer or networking technology, emerging technologies, hardware, or related experience/liliKnowledge of, or experience in, messaging and positioning products to data centers will be very helpful./li/ulpSkills/Knowledge/Abilities/pulliStrong oral and writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams/liliAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form/liliAbility to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations/liliStrong organizational, project management, and planning skills/liliAbility to work independently and in group settings/liliComputer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook)/liliFamiliarity with ISO 9000 standards and audit process is a plus/li/ulpThe work environment is fast-paced, and priorities can shift quickly.
