Job Description
BA - Information Technology, CISSP - ISC2, Responsibilities:
• Reviews Office 365, IDS, and IPS logs for indications of account or system compromises and attacks.
• Audit account privileges.
• Perform regular internal vulnerability scans, summarize findings, and assist in remediation.
• Draft and recommend updates to information security policies as needed.
• Stay current on evolving risks and threats along with possible remediation tools.
• Administer ongoing employee information security training tools., Security+ or Similar - CompTIA
This individual should be a talented, passionate individual with the skill and desire to contribute to the entire IT support team. The position of Security Analyst is part of a team that provides technical support for applications and networking facilitating daily operations of the University. This position will have a particular focus on identifying and remediating information security vulnerabilities and risks across the University.
