We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our organization as the Head of IT. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology and digital strategies. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation, optimizing technological resources, and ensuring that our IT initiatives align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies that align with the company's objectives and drive business growth.
  • Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, and leverage them to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and drive innovation across the organization.
  • IT Governance: Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services, to support the organization's operations.
  • Cybersecurity: Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's sensitive information and mitigate cyber threats.
  • Data Management: Implement data management strategies and systems to ensure the availability, integrity, and security of the organization's data assets.
  • Digital Transformation: Lead digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to leverage technology to streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and drive business growth.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective procurement of technology solutions.
Requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing IT operations and strategy within a complex organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong vendor management skills, with experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL are a plus.
Key Competencies
  • Proven experience in managing on-floor technology systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and systems, such as SCADA, MES, and ERP.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Understanding of data security principles and best practices.
  • Experience implementing ITIL and ITSM frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
