Newell Veterinary Services is looking for an experienced full or part time Veterinarian to join our companion animal practice We are dedicated to providing the best possible care to animals and the best service to clients in a caring, collaborative way.

We are only a two-hour drive to Calgary, and an even shorter drive to Medicine Hat. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are many ideal spots for fishing, plentiful hunting areas, and Dinosaur Provincial Park is a must for those who love to hike.

The Ideal Candidate:
A desire to work with a professional yet fun team
A strong desire to educate and build strong relationships with clients;
A love for diversity in the type of work you do;
The ability to lift 35+ pounds without assistance;
Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure;
A university degree in veterinary medicine;
Completion of national certification examinations or equivalent are required;
Ability to work overnights, evenings, and weekends.
