We are in search of a Janitor/Custodian for our two sites in Las Cruces, NM. Candidates must be able to work Mon- Friday and work hours do vary. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. Key responsibilities include the following:

**Duties:**

Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones

Mop, Buff and vacuum floors

Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls

Clean surfaces with disinfectant

Ensure proper disinfecting procedures are followed

Empty trash cans and/or recycling bins

Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed

Maintain outdoor grounds

Remove debris and snow from sidewalks

Empty trash and recycling bins

**Requirements:**

Some Custodial Experience preferred

Ability to work independently or as a team member

Ability to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instruction

Perform other duties as assigned
