Job Overview

EFI is looking for a Sr. Manager of Product Management to join our Inkjet Business Unit in our Londonderry, NH office. This is a hybrid role with 20% - 30% travel due to supporting activities in multiple plants and a diverse customer base.

This position directly owns a product line from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize profits and meet marketing, financial, and growth objectives. Duties include researching the product market and competitors, creating compelling messaging and brand awareness, and managing the product life cycle.

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Inkjet Product Management.

Key Responsibilities

Assists in leading the overall product line strategy and facilitates research and development requirements, development, manufacturing, and engineering coordination for new or expanded products as well as new emerging product market needs. Manages day-to-day progress of Product, Pricing, Positioning, and Placement. Assists the Commercial team - Provides the assistance required to carry out all corporate sales and marketing strategies as well as setting and achieving company goals. Oversees technical product development, estimates of potential profits (by product line segments) and releases to production. Uncovers new opportunities and builds relationships with customers for future engagements and expansion of EFI offerings. Identifies, creates, nurtures and supports opportunity progress with both new and existing customers. Generates new opportunities for product offerings from market intelligence and customer demand. Builds, maintains and drives relationships with Strategic partners. Develops new business opportunities through strategic sales tactics, including customer development, networking, and relationship building.

Education & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field required plus 12+ years’ experience in Product Management – ideally in the print industry or a capital equipment company. Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups. Pro-actively and independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Highly dynamic and motivated professional with excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills Knowledge and understanding of the market trends Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills; developing, coaching/counseling and motivating teams to achieve goals. Possess excellent problem-solving skills Pay a high level of attention to detail Can build and effectively communicate process, structure, and productivity measures. Can work cross functionally, leverage an effective communication style, including exceptional listening and influencing skills.
