Clinic MA-C (Certified Medical Assistant) Job Category: HEALTHCARE Requisition Number: CLINI001272 Location: Dayton, WA 99328, USA Job Details Description We are hiring for a Full-Time Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) for our Waitsburg and Dayton Clinics The Medical Assistant-Certified plays a vital role in patient care by preparing patients for their visits, obtaining vital signs, and readying exam rooms for providers. They verify patient information through interviews and medical history reviews, assist during examinations, handle lab specimens and tests, administer medications, and manage prescription communications. Additional duties include educating patients, maintaining clean and stocked exam rooms, performing equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe and confidential environment in compliance with legal and HIPAA standards. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Candidates must hold an active Washington State Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) license; previous healthcare and family care experience is preferred. Compensation and Benefits: Compensation: $23.00 - $31.00 per hour, based on number of years of experience Full-Time, 40 hours/week Tuesdays through Fridays, 6:30am - 5:00pm Full-Time Benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision & Basic Life Insurance; eligibility to participate in a 401K Plan, as well as PTO and Sick Time Accruals About the Waitsburg and Dayton Clinics: Our Family Practice Clinics provide exceptional and experienced care by our Medical and Dental providers and is a one-stop solution for all family health needs. Our 3 locations in Dayton, Waitsburg, and College Place includes a friendly staff of Registered Nurses and Certified Medical and Dental Assistants who ensure comfort throughout patient visits. The teams work to holistically treat the whole patient, pushing the boundaries of what we can do in the name of improving patient health outcomes. Our integrated approach to healthcare is what sets us apart as we offer behavioral health and dental services, alongside family practice so our patients receive comprehensive care. We work together to personalize patient treatments and puts the patient at the center of our care.
