About the role:
This position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, experience in an accounting or finance position. Internship is a plus The ideal candidate for this would be a self-starter with "can-do" attitude and strong work ethic with knowledge and experience of superior analytical and problem-solving skills to find solutions to various accounting problems and prioritize work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Analyze discrepancies and resolves issues in a timely manner.
Record fixed assets and depreciation.
Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close.
Perform financial compliance and regulatory reporting activities.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor, review and analyze to identify and create schedules for potential unclaimed property liability.
Assist in all ad hoc projects.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree from accredited college in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
Minimum 3.2 undergraduate GPA
1-3 years of prior accounting experience preferred, but we would also consider exceptional candidates.
Proficiency in Excel, including experience working with pivot tables and vlookup.
Proven experience in bank reconciliation a plus.
Knowledge of cloud-based accounting platforms [Intacct knowledge a plus]

The base salary for this role can range from $60K - $80K, based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.
