Position Summary: We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team and lead the financial strategy and operations of our company. They oversee the financial planning, budgeting, reporting, auditing, and compliance functions of the company. The CFO provides strategic guidance and analysis to the CEO and the board of directors on financial matters, such as fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management. Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to): 1. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that align with our company's vision and goals. 2. Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and forecasts to management and the board of directors. 3. Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure. 4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements. 5. Coordinate and supervise the external audit and tax preparation processes. 6. Lead and mentor the finance team by applying servant-leadership principles and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. 7. Establish and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders. 8. Evaluate and advise on the financial aspects of business opportunities and decisions, such as fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and investments. 9. Work closely with the private equity partners and support the due diligence and valuation processes. 10. Build credibility for the strategic direction of the company among all stakeholders. Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies: * At least twenty (20) years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the technology sector. * At least seven (7) years of experience in executive leadership roles. * Experience managing the financial reporting and disclosure requirements of a public company. * Experience taking a company public. * Excellent presentation skills and presence. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. * Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning. * Highly collaborative, team player.

International finance experience. * Executive experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognition. * Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. * Excellent leadership skills, with a servant leadership mindset, steadfast resolve, and personal integrity. * A solutions-oriented mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, change management expertise, and strategic thinking. * Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills. * Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit, including through private equity. * Proven track record of leading and scaling the finance function of a fast-growing company. * Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. * Highly analytical, strategic, and problem-solving mindset. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Required Education & Certifications: * B.A./B.S. in a related field, or equivalent experience. * Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with an MBA or CPA preferred. Work Environment: Professional office environment. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, printers, and filing cabinets. Remote and/or hybrid work at Pax8 requires all employees to have adequate, secure and private internet service. Position is Colorado based, with the expectation of working a hybrid schedule. Physical Demands: A sedentary role that primarily involves sitting/standing. Travel Requirements: Travel is expected to global Pax8 locations and events as necessary. Compensation: * Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $350,000 or more depending on experience Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location. * Expected Closing Date: May 24th, 2024 * Colorado law requires an estimated closing date for job postings.
