Appian SME

Job Overview:

Graham Technologies (GTECH) is looking for an Appian SME. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, modifying, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level Appian workflow applications. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with the GTech Proposal Department on technical responses, and you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of talented interns working on an exciting Appian project.

You will be happy to know that this a remote role with a preference for candidates based in Dayton, OH or the DC area. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and training. The role requires collaboration with teams across different departments and locations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level Appian workflow applications.
• Collaborate with the GTech Proposal Department on technical responses for client projects.
• Led and managed a team of interns working on Appian projects, providing guidance and support.
• Work closely with clients and upper management to understand business challenges and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Ensure the efficient integration of Appian solutions by applying a deep understanding of relational database concepts and proficient SQL skills.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• US citizen with the ability to pass a government background check
• 5+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Proficiency in relational database concepts with the ability to write efficient SQL.
• Proven experience working with clients and/or upper management to understand and address business challenges.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on both verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Appian Certified Associate Developer Certification or higher
