What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. + Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. + Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site management. + Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within the logistics and distribution environment. + Work collaboratively with site staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related issues. + Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential risks within the logistics and distribution location. Minimum Requirements: + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
