As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by managing entry points and monitoring badge access. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related access control procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or incidents within the logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to observe and report on conditions that could impact operations. Document and report all security-related or suspicious activities, incidents, and/or hazards as per Allied Universal and client protocols. Collaborate with logistics and distribution personnel to support security-related aspects of site operations and maintain a secure environment. Minimum Requirements: Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
