Job Summary
Welcome customers to our showroom and assist them with their needs. Handle incoming calls by identifying the nature of their inquiries and directing them to the appropriate destination. Provide basic information, route calls, and take messages as needed. This position is Monday through Thursday from 7am-3pm and Friday 7-6pm. Occasional flexibility to swap a Saturday would be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit.
- Directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate person that a customer is waiting and introduces the customer to a salesperson.
- Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Answers incoming phone calls. Directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message.
- Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
- Communicates messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
- Assists with clerical duties as requested, such as copying, filing, scanning. Etc.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Working cooperatively with the sales team and the entire dealership
- Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of lobby and customer lounge area
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Outgoing and Positive Demeanor: Friendly and approachable attitude with a knack for engaging with people.
- Professional Appearance and Presentation: Maintains a polished and professional look.
- Punctual with the Ability to Handle Schedule Flexibility: Reliable and adaptable to varying work hours.
- Computer Proficiency: Competence with office software and technology.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role is highly beneficial.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling calls, messages, and information is crucial.
- Multitasking Ability: Capability to handle several responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other staff members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with Dealership Operations: Understanding of basic dealership functions and terminology is a plus.
- Adaptability: Flexibility in responding to varying customer needs and dealership demands.
- Professional Phone Etiquette: Ability to handle calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Must Have Valid Driver's License and Pass Drug Test
