Medical Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) position available:
The applicant must be a certified CNA or CMA and willing to travel to each of our three office locations: Charlotte (Arboretum), NC, Monroe, NC, and Indian Land, SC. He/she will verify patient information by interviewing the patient, confirm the reason for the visit, record patient's medical history and vital signs, and then will briefly report patient history to the physician. The employee may learn to scribe notes using an electronic medical record system for review and signature by the physician. A qualified applicant will have strong spelling, grammar, and writing skills. General familiarity with medical terminology as well as excellent typing skills are required. Experience with scribing in electronic medical record systems and using Google platform and Microsoft software products is helpful.
