About the Team With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse powerhouse. Each department mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions. These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure. The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance. Responsibilities Designing and optimizing core modules while promoting frontend standards to boost efficiency and code quality. Contributing to frontend stability initiatives, including performance optimization, monitoring systems, and automated testing frameworks. Evaluating and implementing technical solutions, continuously tracking emerging technologies, and introducing new tools based on business needs. Assisting team members in resolving production issues, including performance tuning, compatibility fixes, and bug resolution. What We're Looking For Hold a Bachelor's diploma or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with solid computer science fundamentals. 5+ years of frontend development experience with large-scale Web frontend project experience. Possess "keep it simple" mindset, able to design and implement clean, efficient, and maintainable frontend architecture and code. Read frontend framework source code, understand underlying principles, and continuously improve existing project frameworks. Demonstrate great communication and teamwork abilities, drive projects, mentor, and lead engineers. Demonstrate experience with collaborative documentation, AI technologies, and excellent product sense. Salary Range or On Target Earnings: Minimum: $98,900.00 Maximum: $228,700.00 In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
