About the Organization & Opportunity: Our client is a highly established nonprofit organization founded over 100 years ago Working environment is a great team-oriented atmosphere Current employees praise the approachable leadership and opportunities for professional development Accounting Clerk Responsibilities: Accounting Clerk role will 90% AP Accounting Clerk will be responsible for full cycle ap including coding, preparing, and cutting checks Accounting Clerk will handle a volume of 20-50 invoices per day Accounting Clerk will process AP for the organization Accounting Clerk role will be 10% AR Accounting Clerk will enter deposits and prepare deposit slips Accounting Clerk will process deposits 1-2x/week during the current busy season Accounting Clerk will complete ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements : 1-2+ years of previous accounting experience Sage Intacct experience is a plus but NOT required Degree is a plus but NOT required if candidate has 1-2+ years of professional accounting experience Basic Excel skills - able to create a spreadsheet and enter information into existing Excel tables. Should be comfortable doing data entry in Excel. Previous nonprofit experience is a plus but NOT required Personality Fit: Quick learner Prompt in responses Not afraid to ask questions Hard working Team player Diligently stays on task Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 Qualified candidates please submit your resume for immediate consideration for this exciting job opportunity
