Receptionist/Concierge

**The Opportunity:**

Saint Lukes Bishop Spencer Place, Kansas Citys premier not-for-profit life plan retirement community, is looking for a Concierge (Receptionist) to provide superior customer service to our residents and guests and to perform a variety of administrative functions.

**Shift:** This is a part-time position working three days a week from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm or 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

**The Work:**

* Answering and transferring incoming phone calls to the appropriate party

* Greeting residents, family members, vendors, and other visitors

* Screening visitors for the symptoms of COVID-19

* Scheduling resident transportation and dispatching our drivers

* Receiving and sorting mail and packages

* Entering housekeeping and maintenance requests

* Making photocopies and transmitting faxes

* Ordering office supplies and maintaining the mailroom

* Updating various phone lists and informational data sheets

* Performing general administrative and clerical duties

* Anticipating resident needs and exceeding their expectation

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

* Superior customer service and people skills.

* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

* Proficient computer skills - especially Word and Outlook.

* Previous experience as a Receptionist or Concierge.

* A stable work history with excellent references from previous supervisors.

* A high school degree or equivalent; college degree is preferred.

* Must enjoy working with seniors.

* Must positively reflect the warm and caring culture of the community.
