Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Utilize a variety of cleaning and sanitizing solutions to address different types of stains and surfaces
  • Clean doors, doorframes, baseboard corners and edges, stairwells, and other high and low-touch surfaces
  • Perform tasks including sweeping, dust mopping, damp and wet mopping, scrubbing, stripping, refinishing, buffing, vacuuming, and extracting carpets and runners
  • Spot clean areas as needed to address spills and stains
  • Operate pressure washers and heavy industrial powered and battery-operated equipment for cleaning tasks
  • Adjust, clean, and perform minor maintenance on equipment, including changing attachments to ensure optimal performance
  • Empty trash and wastebaskets, replacing liners as necessary
  • Transport general refuse, regulated medical waste, and recycling to designated central collection areas
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, bathrooms, and shower rooms, including lavatories, showers, bathtubs, urinals, and toilet bowls
  • Clean mirrors, sinks, and water fountains
  • Wash and polish light fixtures and toilet fixtures
  • Replenish supplies of paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, and soap in all dispensers.
Essential Job Requirements:
  • Clearance:
    • Must be able to pass background check
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • Previous experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role is preferred
    • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning solutions
    • Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment
    • Familiarity with safety procedures and proper handling of medical and general waste
  • Work Schedule:
    • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday to Friday
    • 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday to Friday
