Job Description

Your Career

As a member of our SWFW (Cloud NGFW/Virtualization) team at Palo Alto Networks, you will drive and deliver our next-generation virtualization products and cloud security offerings.

Your Impact
  • Lead and expand a high performing QA Engineering teams responsible for Cloud NGFW, Public Cloud Integration & SWFW in general
  • Define and drive the execution plan for quality delivery
  • Provide Thorough Technical Leadership in the areas of Cloud Based Orchestration, Cloud delivered Security as Service, Cloud Networking and Automation Design
  • Operate with an Automation first mindset and drive innovation in test design, automation and framework to achieve the same
  • Participate in system design so that Quality Assurance is considered throughout the entire lifecycle of the SWFW (Cloud NGFW & VM/CN) product Development
  • Develop and/or Enhance Automated test Infrastructure to enable building Scalable & Flexible tests that reflect real world network deployment scenarios
  • Enhance Test strategies, Automation & Build infrastructure to deliver a high Quality Product/Cloud service to meet Enterprise Standards and Expectations
  • Partner closely with Product Management to help identify and drive customer outcomes
  • Partner with Cloud Technology vendors in defining strategic outcomes for NextGen products
  • Ability to manage highly visible projects effectively across multiple geographic locations
  • Create best practices and metrics that will drive success for the team
Qualifications

Your Experience
  • 10+ years of software QA experience in Cybersecurity, Networking and Cloud technologies
  • 5+ years of experience building and leading teams of SDETs working on Enterprise class Cloud delivered Network or Security Services, Infrastructure products across geographies
  • Experience in end to end qualification and delivery of Network/Cloud SaaS through CI-CD across various cloud providers
  • Experience in Public Cloud Infrastructure and Networking - Hands-on experience in cloud orchestration and networking in AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI would be a plus
  • Experience/Expertise with designing and implementing automation frameworks for microservices based applications or Network Security solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An elevated sense of ownership and focus on driving business value - A leadership style focused on building relationships, establishing trust with diverse colleagues, executive stakeholders, and business partners
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once and thrive in a fast-paced environment

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $180,200/yr to $291,500/yr.
