About the Organization Frost Bake Shop is a local & family owned business that started in 2004 by the Kloos family. Frost opened it's first retail location in 2013. As of 2022, we have 3 retail locations in the greater Memphis area. We specialize in cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, and cheesecakes. We also make customized desserts for weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations. We believe in being open every day, having every menu item every day of the week, and having something taste as good as it looks Description JOB SUMMARYThe purpose of this job is to deliver exceptional guest service in a Frost Bake Shop retail location.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures outstanding guest service by modeling exemplary service delivery; includes acknowledging every guest, answering the store phone in a timely manner, maintaining exceptional standards for cleanliness and product quality, possessing solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service. Handles guest payments with accuracy and discretion, protecting credit card information at all times. Maintains appropriate stock levels in front cases, staging area, 2D & cold case; ensures quality of products stocked; creates sample trays for guests. Assists with supply inventory by folding and stamping boxes. Completes cleaning tasks on a continuous basis to include washing of dishes, wiping of tables, chairs, front doors, cases, windows, restroom, and service area; refers to and works on the weekly cleaning list for additional duties when guest traffic is slow. Bakes cookies as inventory levels necessitate. Ensures consistent quality of products through proper oven temperature and that cookies are baked from frozen. Documents all products baked thoroughly and accurately. Completes dish washing tasks from the day. May perform other duties as assigned. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal/external customers. Strong organizational skills for the performance of a variety of complex administrative duties. Ability to prioritize tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail; logical and methodical approach to problem solving. Proficiency in standard software applications including and with standard office equipment.ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONSThis job operates in a climate-controlled retail environment with occasional exposure to a 0-degree walk-in. Appropriate cold-weather gear is provided at each location.PHYSICAL DEMANDS (including requirements for travel or working nights/weekends/holidays)The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Requires: Regularly required to talk and hear. Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. Frequently lifts and /or moves items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
