Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of capital automation projects utilizing industry best practices and client-specific business processes.
  • Provide support for project scope, deliverables, schedule, and project team coordination for capital expenditure (CapEx) automation projects.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of Requests for Proposal (RFP) and vendor analysis for General contracting and engineering services, particularly in design-build projects.
  • Oversee system integrations and ensure compliance with GMP requirements, EHS&S regulations, and security protocols.
  • Coordinate and support engineering and automation design, commissioning, qualification, and QA Validation activities.
  • Proactively identify and recommend process and procedure improvements.
  • Serve as a representative of the Capital Project Automation group with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction or Engineering-related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or Biotech industry.
  • Proficiency in Emerson DeltaV Process Control System (PCS).
  • Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and non-GMP project requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours occasionally and adapt to a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend engineering plans and specifications.
