Housekeeping Perform general maintenance of buildings, including trash removal, recycling, moving furniture and boxes, setting up rooms for special events, and breaking down rooms after events. Responsibilities: Remove trash and recycle materials as needed. Move and arrange furniture for various setups. Prepare rooms for special events and dismantle setups afterward. Assist with relocating offices. Maintain clean offices and general facilities. Essential Skills: Proficient in material handling. Knowledge of safety procedures. Customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and occasional indoor work. Why Work Here? Work Environment: Work in a multi-building college campus that includes classrooms, shared spaces, grounds, hospitals, and laboratories. The position is on the 1st shift, from 7 am to 4 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, NJ. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
