Client Service Manager

Our client is a successful wealth management firm based in Old Town Pasadena seeking an experienced Client Service Manager for their boutique firm to provide servicing support for the team and clients. This is a full-time position and requires in-office work.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate experience working in an RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) with HNW client services, confidentiality, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills in a highly collaborative team environment. Candidates with operations background and “white glove” client relationship experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of investment and portfolio administration such as fund transfers and withdrawals, RMDs, capital gains and losses, calculation of stepped-up cost basis, ACATs, new account documentation and classification of securities. Schwab Institutional custodial platform is preferred.

Primary responsibilities:

Support advisor and team with client interactions, process client requests, and ensure smooth operational processes

Movement of money such as wire transfers and MoneyLink

Required minimum distributions

Coordination of quarterly statement process

New client onboarding

Trading back-up

Account transfers and monitoring ACATs

Primary Liaison between firm and Schwab Institutional

Calendar Appointments and ZOOM meetings as needed

Preferred Skills

Minimum 10 years’ experience with an RIA

Exceptional communication and client interface skills

Working knowledge of capital markets

HNW client servicing and back-office operations processing

Extensive familiarity with Schwab Institutional website, Schwab applications and documents

Experience with Tamarac and Wealthbox

Working knowledge of Microsoft programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree
