Position: Dietary Cook

Location: Holston Rehabilitation and Care Center

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals ensuring nutritional requirements are met and in compliance with all sanitary and safety standards.
  • Ensure high-quality meals are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Plan and produce meals based on different dietary requirements.
  • Collaborate with dietary team to ensure meals align with residents' health and taste preferences.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring fresh ingredients are always on hand.
  • Continuously innovate and enhance meal quality, presentation, and taste.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a cook, preferably within a healthcare or institutional setting.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and dietary needs.
  • Strong understanding of sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for food preparation and dedication to delivering quality meals.
