Want to be a part of a prestigious pediatric environment?The Patient Services Representative (PSR) works with patients and their families to address needs and concerns. They are the first point of contact for patients and their families. Offers excellent customer service both over the phone when scheduling appointments, as well as when patients and their families are in clinic. The PSR is required to follow all Allegro Pediatrics policies and procedures; and must communicate a positive attitude, as well as maintain a positive working relationship with staff, managers, directors, and providers. PRS positions are full-time with four 10-hour shifts and must be available to work at any of Allegro's Eastside Clinics as needed for coverage. Primary Responsibilities: Answer phones and schedule appointments using current Practice Management system When in clinic, verify demographics and successfully check patients in/out use current Practice Management system Troubleshoot issues with appointments or general account questions Maintain a working understanding of policies and procedures involving scheduling appointments or requirements to assist families in finding the best possible outcome for their concerns Verify and scan patient insurance, and Consent for Care, Financial Responsibility and HIPAA formCollect co-pays and post on accountsAbility to work in any/all Allegro Pediatrics clinics as needed to provide adequate coverageMaintain a working knowledge of office equipment including (but not limited to): phones, computers, printers, credit card machines, fax machines, copiers and scanners.Successfully process medical record releases using current protocolProcess, distribute, and scan correspondence and reports that arrives via mail, shuttle and fax.Process incoming forms including (but not limited to): camp physical forms, authorization for medication forms, and sports physical formsTake messages for physicians/nursesHelp with projects including (but not limited to): front office, medical records and back office.Must maintain and protect confidentiality both patient and corporate (HIPAA)Required to maintain updated knowledge of all workflow and process changesKeep current on all company email and Teams communicationsMust complete all mandatory trainings satisfactorilyOther duties as assignedRequirements Must be proficient in computer navigation, task management and working with several software programs at the same time Previous customer service experience Maintain good attendance record Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent interpersonal/people skills Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills Enjoy working in a fast-paced patient focused environment with ongoing changes Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to all clinics as staffing needs change Must be 18 years of age or older Pre-Employment Requirements: Background check Drug testing in compliance with Washington State Bill 5123 for this safety-sensitive position.To uphold safety for all employees and patients, we continue to require vaccination status for all new hires, including remote or hybrid schedules, at time of hire and annuallyCurrent COVID booster, or as newly released, and annually each fall We require flu immunizations at time of hire, or as newly released, and annually each fallVarious other immunization requirements that we can discuss during your interviewAll employees are currently required to wear a surgical, KN95 or N95 mask at all times while in clinic, patient facing
