About the role

Caribou Thunder is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be part of a team developing a new software capability for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Support to Command and Control (CSC2) program.

Day-to-Day Expectations

  • Support Cybersecurity design and certification activities, including development and management of artifacts for Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Develop new software features, problem fixes, upgrades, and enhancements to existing capabilities
  • Develop system and software requirements
  • Develop system and software design documents
  • Develop and execute manual test procedures
  • Develop automated test software and implementation of automated test frameworks
  • Develop a user manual and other required technical documents
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a team
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited college or university
  • Software Engineer with Java, C++ of C# development experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Can work at any of the following locations: Baltimore (Aberdeen), MD; Orlando, FL; San Diego, CA
  • Ability to travel to corporate office nearest to site location for meetings or integration events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile team development experience
  • Cybersecurity development experience
  • Large Data or Non-SQL Database experience
  • Experience with Containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with modern UI technologies such as React and implementations of workflow management
