Who are we hiring?

The Maintenance Engineer performs a variety of tasks related to the stadium, and surrounding facilities regarding analyzing, correcting, and repairing mechanical problems and various mechanical equipment. Other responsibilities include construction, repair, maintenance, upkeep, and safe operations of related facilities. Assists with field and facility conversions preparing for various events. The Maintenance Engineer will have knowledge in mechanical engineering disciplines and a strong willingness to work in a team environment.

What will you do?
  • Organize or render assistance for stadium maintenance functions.
  • Promptly acknowledge responses to concerns and requests made by staff.
  • Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders utilizing the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • May render assistance in overseeing and managing the maintenance records and supplies.
  • Aid in the assistance to engineering management on distinct maintenance projects such as preventive maintenance of components of buildings.
  • Render assistance in ensuring grounds and common areas rendered free of trash and debris.
  • Work together with other maintenance personnel and management in organizing an essential team that successfully represents the expertise and quality standards of the organization.
  • Perform some duties with access control systems, refrigeration and protection systems, fire detection, building heating and other electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Basic plumbing, painting, building maintenance and patchwork skills are essential.
  • Experience with ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with facility electrical systems is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Travel is not expected in this role.

What do you need to succeed?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
  • Self-motivated and able to on an individual basis with effective time management skills
  • A minimum of two years' experience with all trade tools
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Able to provide on-call coverage when scheduled.
Special requirements of the Job:This job operates in an office and stadium environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. This position will work in various weather conditions including, but not limited to, heat, cold, rain and sunny environments.

  • Heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing/walking for extended periods of time
  • Carrying and/or transporting heavy objects, usually by hand, arm, or shoulder
  • Pushing, pulling, and exerting force to complete tasks and assignments.
  • Forklift and/or scissor lift certification preferred.
