Description

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Finance, this position would be responsible for maintaining accounts payable financial records, ensuring the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger, and compiling financial data to aid in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. This individual would also assist in analyzing current costs, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. As well as assist in month-end and year-end close activities, financial reconciliation and audit, and assist with tracking budget, financial payments, and financial compliance for USDA and related grants, as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
0-2 years of related experience.
Proven ability to multi-task and work independently.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Salesforce financial system.
No travel is expected.
Typical office environment. The ability to sit for extended periods of time is necessary. The ability to look at a computer screen for long periods of time is essential.
