Job Purpose
To collaborate closely with teams that design processes, operate and train for excellence, face customers in all levels of management and work in a team of highly-motivated team members dedicated to bringing customer support excellence.
Key Accountabilities
•Provide GIS technical and business process support for the MA distribution electric business
•Position will include reporting, data update, analysis responsibilities utilizing SharePoint and Power BI.
•Collaborate with and advise various stakeholders to identify and prioritize data and/or business process and system changes and enhancements.
•Work closely with business and IS counterparts to develop solutions to system related issues and change requests. This could include:
o identify best business echnical solutions
o write business requirements and functional specifications for developers
o facilitate development, testing and implementation of identified changes
•Assist in the design, development and implementation of knowledge management strategies.
•Create, publish, update and expire knowledge content.
•Review article feedback and respond accordingly.
•Condense complex training content into easily consumable knowledge articles.
•Effectively collaborate with the wider team to produce simplified, relevant knowledge content within necessary deadlines.
•Evaluate knowledge management tool performance and review low usage content, identifying areas for improvement.
•Assist in development and maintenance of other training elements as needed.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
•Proven ability to work in a team environment
•Demonstrated effective customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)
•Demonstrated effective analytical skills, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
•Proficient with computer applications including demonstrated skills with geospatial data analysis, relational databases, spreadsheets, query tools and other general applications
•Highly motivated with ability to take an assignment and progress independently
•Ability to travel throughout the National Grid service territory as needed.
•Required Skills: Working knowledge of GIS, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite of programs.

$92k - $130k a year
