Description

  • Project Oversight: Manage daily field operations for healthcare construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Oversee and coordinate multiple construction crews, schedule tasks, and work with subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Safety Management: Actively monitor and enforce safety protocols on-site, participate in safety inspections, and conduct regular training sessions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, review processes for consistency and efficiency, and update schedules and budgets as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records, including personnel, production, and project logs, and produce regular status reports.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address obstacles, work with teams to resolve issues, and implement recovery plans when necessary.

Profile

A successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience: 5-7 years in construction management, including 1-3 years specifically in healthcare construction and experience as a Superintendent on at least one project.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and safety procedures, with a comprehensive understanding of various construction crafts including carpentry, concrete, structural steel, and interior build-outs.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead a diverse field team, ensuring high performance and adherence to project goals.
  • Communication: Effective at coordinating with subcontractors and team members, and skilled in producing detailed reports and documentation.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to the dynamic demands of healthcare construction projects.
