Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager of Product Design and Development . This key role will spearhead the design and enhancement of backup power generators, ensuring the delivery of top-quality, reliable, and efficient products to meet market demands. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in generator technology and possess a technical engineering background, driving innovation and excellence in product development.Key Responsibilities:Product Design Leadership:Lead the design and development efforts for backup power generators, from ideation to production, aligning with client needs and market trends.Champion innovation by integrating state-of-the-art technologies and industry best practices into product design strategies.Team Management:Build and lead a proficient team of product designers, engineers, and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.Technical Expertise:Leverage in-depth knowledge of generator technology to drive design decisions and overcome technical obstacles.Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards in power generation.Collaboration:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales, to ensure seamless product development processes.Solicit feedback from stakeholders to refine product requirements and drive continuous improvement.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Establish and maintain robust quality assurance protocols to uphold the reliability, durability, and safety of backup power generators.Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and certifications.Project Management:Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet development milestones and objectives.Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to optimize productivity and efficiency.Working Conditions:This role is primarily office-based, with regular visits to manufacturing facilities and project sites.Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events or visit suppliers.If you are a visionary leader with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of power generation technology, our client invites you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
