Overview:

Responsible for handling all incoming and outbound material from Production including Direct Materials located in the Crib. Employee ensures accurate paperwork processing for all material being moved.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring all movement of material is recorded properly transfers/ receipts, routing tags, etc
  • Ensures all material locations for production are full at beginning and end of shift
  • Works with other employees within the dept. ensuring procedures and specifications are followed
  • Follows all housekeeping and safety practices. Responsible for the areas overall cleanliness and neatness
  • May be required to perform miscellaneous duties related to the company and carry out special projects as required
  • Able to drive a company forklift in a safe manner
  • Performs daily equipment checks
  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
Qualifications:
  • Must understand instructions given in English
  • Must have excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Operate a forklift
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment

  • Physical Component(s)

    1. Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
    2. Frequently lifting up to 40 pounds
    3. Having a good sense of balance
    4. Having good eye-hand-foot coordination
    5. Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
    6. Ability to work in varying temperatures
