The Sales Associate is focused on maintaining the best customer experience by cultivating strong customer relationships based on knowledge and passion for the brand and products. The Sales Associate is responsible for welcoming customers, ensuring they are cared for, listening to their needs, and treating them with the utmost respect.Pay Range $16.00 - $18.50/hrWhat You'll DoAlign and comply with company policies, procedures, and The Parent Company Values - Absolute Integrity, Positive Energy, Bias Toward Action, Connectedness, Truth SeekingAdhere to all city and state regulationsAcknowledge every customer who enters the store with a professional and pleasant dispositionDemonstrate excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environmentAssist customers with selecting the products most appropriate for their needsRemain knowledge on new and existing products and promotionsKeep display cases clean and ensure all product is fully represented and organizedMaintain excellent housekeeping and organizational standardsStay informed of daily store goals and KPIs and commit to making a positive contributionCommunicate effectively with all store leaders and team members and ask for assistance when neededMaintain professionalism in your appearance, attitude, and communicationOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementWhat You HaveEntry-level knowledge of cannabis products and related vocabulary is preferredMust be reliable and dependable with a good work ethicMust be able to adapt to a changing work environmentAbility to multitask and prioritizeAbility to work as part of a teamStrong attention to detailWorking EnvironmentThis position will work in an indoor facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and working in proximity with customers and staff.Job RequirementsMust be 21 years of age or older.Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or San Jose Police Department.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
