Summary DPS is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for work in Norton and Cambridge MA. The suitable Candidate will work to provide process engineering service support and coordinate various engineering activities with outside groups (e.g. Manufacturing, Facilities, Validation, Quality). DPS is looking for a person with a strong engineering background and a minimum of 9 years of biotech/biopharm experience. The suitable candidate will need to be strong in troubleshooting manufacturing problems for specific equipment and processes as outlined below and provide primary technical support. This position requires strong organizational, communication and project management skills. Key Responsibilities * To support manufacturing and development equipment/systems. * Provide engineering support of production and support equipment. * Support lifecycle deliverables for production and support equipment/systems. * Support small/large projects including system maintenance/changes * Installation and startup testing of new equipment (generation, execution, and close out of engineering test plans) * Ownership of system P&IDs - responsible for engineering review, walkdowns, redlines & system changes * Generation, review, and approval of engineering lifecycle documentation for assigned systems * Review, approval, and execution support of C&Q protocols for assigned systems * Generation, review, and approval of engineering change management for assigned systems * New systems troubleshooting floor support Skills & Qualifications * Senior Engineer 9+ years of relevant work experience, including design, capital projects, and operations support for the biopharmaceutical industry. * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field * Knowledge of biopharmaceutical processes, including oligonucleotide synthesis, chemical/API synthesis, chromatography, filtration systems, and solvent handling systems. * Knowledge of GMP process utility systems including high purity water (RODI, WFI), clean steam, CIP, process waste, etc. The Company DPS Group is a global EPCM firm offering full-service solutions within the Life Sciences (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology) and Advanced Technology (semiconductor, data center, and solar) industries.
