Inspires trust and exhibits honesty and integrity within the scope of daily activities.Exhibits professionalism, courtesy and excellent customer service, while interacting with patients, guests and co-workers.Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.Knowledge, skill, and ability to operate floor machines.Ability to lift, bends, climbs, and operates heavy equipment.Ability to work with others on various projects within the environmental services department.Sweep and mop hard surface floors.Vacuum carpets.Remove and transport trashOperate floor machines, rinse extractors, floor scrubbers and other electrical and mechanical equipment.Collect and transport biohazard and hazardous wasteStrip and wax floors.Set up conference rooms and move furniture.Transport beds.May work outside on grounds.May be assigned to work in the laundry.Clean equipment and notify management of equipment needing repair.Clean housekeeping closets.May clean patient areas and discharge rooms.Performs other duties as assigned.
