Responsibilities for thisOccupational Therapistopportunity include, but are not limited to:* Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image* Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations* Conduct assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, cognitive, and psychosocial development* Collaborate with other educational professionals to gather information on students' academic performance and participation* Set specific and measurable occupational therapy goals to address students' unique challenges* Provide interventions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and activities of daily living* Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom environment* Address sensory integration challenges through activities and interventions that promote self-regulation and attention in the classroomJOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:* Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program* Successful completion of the National Certification Examination* 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years* Valid OT license in FloridaCareerStaff Unlimited, LLC ("CareerStaff"), an affiliate of ShiftMed, is a renowned industry leader in healthcare staffing, managed services, and workforce solutions.
