Position Title: Tig Welder

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Tig Welder position available at a company in Belvidere, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Tig Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Reading blueprints, templates, and instructions in order to weld accordingly.

- MIG welding aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel wire racks together.

- Ensuring welds are of good quality and aesthetically pleasing.

- Loading and unloading product and welding equipment to and from workstation.

Tig Welder Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs frequently throughout the entire shift.

- Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.

- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach frequently throughout the entire shift.

- Previous MIG welding experience required.

- Must be able to pass MIG weld test prior to starting work.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

- Must be able to read gauges, micrometers and calipers.
