Talent Consultant Group is partnered with an engineering firm who is looking to add a Drainage Engineer to their growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This firm offers engineering, surveying, and planning services in the Southeast, including construction engineering and management.

The Drainage Engineer will provide drainage design support for Residential and Commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal and organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design stormwater management systems including addressing floodplain requirements, wetland hydration, and storm conveyance calculations.
  • Assist with land development work as needed.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Site layout & grading
  • Drainage and stormwater management design including floodplain requirements, wetland hydration, and storm conveyance calculations.
  • Utility Design
  • Permit package preparation.
  • Florida Codes and regulations
  • Interpreting plans
  • Stormwater facilities design using ADICPR, ASAD
  • Level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
