Join our growing home care agency and become a part of our caring communityIndividuals must have experience inProviding assistance with personal hygiene for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents.Provides client with reminders to take prescribed medication.Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.) Assist with planning and preparing meals and help with physical therapy exercisesComplete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do soTransfers of patients to commode or toilet, bed to mobility assistance equipmentPerform light housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidentsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryRecords and reports activities related to personal care responsibilities, as required.Responds promptly to client requestsDocuments all client related activities in a timely manner.Participates in performance improvement in services.Reacts to change productively and performs other job-related tasks and duties as assigned.QualificationsEnjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skillsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related dutiesValid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day - must have Bodily Injury Liability coverage in auto insurance policy.Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends (Flexibility with 4 hour shifts preferred)Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA License and 24 hours current CEU'sHoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)Company benefits include - medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term/long-term disability insurance, 401K program to full-time and qualified part-time employees.
