OVERVIEW:

DICK'S Sporting Goods Campus Recruiters play a dynamic and pivotal role in shaping the future workforce of our company. Int his role, your mission is to identify, attract, and secure top talent from universities and colleges to fill various roles across the organization. You will be the face of DSG at career fairs, information sessions, conferences, and campus events, where you will showcase the vibrant and fast-paced world of retail and DSG's unique work culture.

Armed with a keen eye for talent and knowledge of our business, you will build and nurture relationships with faculty, career services, and student organizations to create a pipeline of bright and diverse candidate sets. You will conduct engaging presentations, facilitate interactive workshops, and host exclusive networking events that give students a firsthand look at career opportunities and life at DSG.

Through a combination of strategic planning, persuasive communication, and genuine enthusiasm, the Campus Recruiter ensures the company remains a top choice for graduates. You will also help to coordinate our esteemed Corporate Internship Program and entry-level hiring initiatives, providing students with valuable insights and hands-on experience in the retail sector.

Ultimately, the Campus Recruiter plays a crucial role in bringing fresh, innovative minds into Team DSG, helping to drive the company's mission to the Best Sports Company in the World forward, while making a lasting impact on the careers of young professionals.

This is a full time hybrid (remote on Monday and Friday, in office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) role located in Coraopolis, PA. Additional flexibility around events and travel (approx 20-30%) is required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build curriculum with University Relations Manager to support hiring goals and execute tactical recruiting strategies aimed at generating college candidates for open internships and entry level training programs. Engage with hiring managers and business partners to identify each function's recruiting needs and desired skillset.
  • Create & manage the candidate pipeline and recruiting lifecycle using effective sourcing strategies - university partnerships, clubs and organizations, social media, etc. Coordinate and execute on-campus and virtual recruiting activities including career fairs and campus events, professional development presentations, interview days, etc. Monitor and determine the effectiveness of programs and strategies through the use of dashboard tracking, best practice metrics and industry SOPs.
  • Recruits for interns & entry level program positions across multiple business functions; responsible for posting positions, reviewing applications and resumes, conducting phone screens and/or evaluating initial video interviews and managing the candidate through the recruiting process. Guarantees that our recruitment process is compliant with all internal and external regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in the planning, execution and management of the Summer Internship Program. Collaborate with the I&D team and internal and external business partners to drive Inclusion & Diversity goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors Degree/ 4 year degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • 3 to 5 years recruiting experience- preferred in the retail or college space
  • HR Systems (Workday)
  • Comfortable with all social media platforms (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • College recruiting tools (Symplicity, Handshake, Yello)
  • SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams
  • Passionate about recruiting top talent as demonstrated by high
  • level of energy, positive and upbeat attitude. Ability to interact with hiring managers at all levels of the company.
  • Experience staffing positions at a variety of levels, including
  • senior management. Ability to handle special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to handle constant change with ease and flexibility. Proven ability to use behavioral interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to travel (20-30%)
