Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the DHDC CVI Program Director, the Worksite Supervisor will transport and
supervise participants for transitional employment opportunities at worksites where DHDC has established
contracts as part of the CVI program. This position is responsible for a wide range of activities to include but
are not limited to:
•Supervise participants in temporary jobs, 15 to 20 hours of paid work each week such as cleaning and
securing the interior and exterior of empty properties; grass, leave and snow removal; minor
demolition; and boarding up properties.
•Transport participants and equipment to worksites.
•Order and maintain tools and equipment used by the team.
•Approved participants' timesheets.
•Encourage participants to capitalize on their motivation and desire for life change, as well as guiding
participants to seek help from the in-house case manager and staff to address any issues, concerns, or
obstacles they may be facing.
•Coordinate with case managers to monitor participants' success in the program and readiness to be
placed in full-time, unsubsidized employment.
•Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers through email, phone, and in-person
correspondence and coordinate and arrange events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.

Qualifications
•The Worksite Supervisor will need to have training and experience in supervision, construction,
landscaping or other related work.
•Two or more years of professional experience working with adults with several challenges and barriers.
•Experience entering participant data in a data management system.
•A valid driver's license and registered and insured vehicle.
•Pass background check:
o Child Abuse clearance through the State of Michigan
o Driving record through the State of Michigan SOS
o Drug Testing

Job salary and benefits...
•This position is non-exempt (hourly), full-time, 40 hours/week. The rate range for this position is
$18.00-$21.00 per hour.
