Electrical Engineer

We are currently look for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Redmond, WA. This role is In-Office The pay range is $110K - $135k annually.

Primary Function: The Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing, designing, and managing the electrical components and systems of complex subsystems or moderately complex systems, ensuring high performance and reliability, and collaborating across various engineering disciplines to achieve optimal solutions.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:

Own electrical development of highly complex subsystems or moderately complex systems under the direction of a technical lead Design schematics, direct board layout, conduct design reviews and draft design documentations Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate new technologies and components. Propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance and features Manage bring up and debug, support manufacturing and assembly build Collaborate in a team environment and work across engineering disciplines to develop systems and manage trade offs across electronics, mechanics, optics, sensors, haptics, firmware and software Evaluate vendor reference design and transform these into custom solutions which meet product and form factor constraints Work in distributed team environment Work autonomously and take initiative to manage individual and team priorities Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences. Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience preferred Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium or equivalent Experience working with one of these technologies: use of oscilloscopes, high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, or function generators Experience working with one of these technologies: digital signal processing, real-time image processing, display engineering, camera modules, mobile SoC and PMIC, or Battery Management System Strong written and verbal English language communication skills. Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group. Demonstrate commitment and adherence to Sigma Design Core Values. Pass a post-offer background verification.

Work Environment Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients, or suppliers.
