License: Licensed by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
Must-Have:
- Outpatient clinical documentation
- Knowledge of speech patterns
- Clinical diagnostics
- Therapy experience

Job Description:

- Evaluate, diagnose, and recommend a treatment plan for communication disorders of speech and language under general supervision.
- Perform evaluations of speech, hearing, and swallowing difficulties upon physician referral, make a preliminary diagnosis, and develop treatment plans.
- Determine the need for individual or group therapy for each client.
- Document client progress diligently.
- Assist students in clinical rotations to meet their objectives.
- Display patience when clients exhibit frustration and interact in a patient, encouraging manner to help them achieve program goals.
- Exhibit good interpersonal skills with customers, co-workers, and clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

- Required: Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology

Languages: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
