Financial Analyst

Our client in the manufacturing space is looking to bring on a full time Financial Analyst to assist the CFO with various financial reports.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.
• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
• Conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management
• You will be a part of a dynamic team being a key business partner in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical skills to effectively interpret problems and develop applicable, easy-to-understand reporting
• Prior experience working in manufacturing is a must.
• 3-7 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience in working in a team environment.
• You are a solution-oriented critical thinker with a passion for analysis
• Effective personal organization skills to optimize time usage, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple assignments.
