Supervision Exercised:

Responsible for the direct supervision of the direct and contracted staff associated with development activities.

General Statement of Duties:

Manage/develop internal scripting and RPA (Robotics Processing Automation) automation product development initiatives.

Define, plan and coordinate internal application research and development efforts.
This role is expected to not only manage the efforts of others but also develop/implement solutions.

This role will be the principal developer/owner of the .Net Automation solution, and developer/owner of the RPA program.

In addition to core automation functionality, responsibility includes efforts to streamline/improve end-user interaction with core servicing system functions.

Facilitate core deliverables associated with requirements definition, specification development and technological alternatives for automation of the loan servicing/contact center business functions.

Implements and integrates third party solutions to streamline functionality.

Periodically identify legacy applications which should be retired and/or incorporated within ongoing architectural evolutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise Staff -

Supervise and coordinate the activities of subordinate staff members.

I nterview and recommend the hiring of new staff.

Prepare performance evaluations on subordinate staff members. Prioritize direct report workload along with core decision responsibilities for delegation vs. self-ownership of deliverables.

Grow team members' skill sets by providing professional development opportunities and coaching.

Business Analysis -Research, review and advance all new automation-based internal development requests and initiatives.

Identify and prioritize both major and minor tasks based upon criteria which include scalability considerations and cost reductions.
Responsible for ensuring the development efforts are directly in-line with Client's goals and able to provide concrete recommendations for "buy vs. build" approaches to meet such goals.
Effectively interact with other staff and external parties for the purpose of gathering and providing information related to automation development or comparable initiatives deployed within other Servicer environments.
Attend seminars and conferences designed to build knowledge of same.

Servicing System Automation -

Lead development initiatives to deliver mission-critical scripts using VB.Net to streamline and automate screen-based transactions.

This role requires knowledge of SQL, VB.net, UiPath RPA, as well as good familiarity with 3270 terminal emulation.

Includes working with business units for requirements definition, documentation, tracking, adoption and testing functions.

This role will also be responsible for all aspects of RPA (Robotics Processing Automation) development, including environment configurations, vendor management, development, production support, and general oversight for governance purposes.

Must also be able to drive best practices for development, documentation, and delivery.

Production Support and Operational Control -

Oversee the entire automation spectrum of processes, identifying when issues occur and addressing change.
Must be able to coordinate with various technical teams to ensure runtime environment (Citrix/Windows) are maintained in accordance with company technical requirements.
Lead any strategic initiatives to improve control or efficiency over the existing development and support infrastructure.
Must be able to coordinate/lead with any internal/external audits.
Must be able to measure outcomes, gather user feedback, and make program improvements.

Maintain Vision and Communication for Automation - Responsible for ongoing definition and execution towards clearly stated vision for Client automation and expanded independence from primary mainframe servicing system.
P rovide regular written and verbal updates to establish the vision and the roadmap for successful execution.

Quality Assurance -

Maintain rigorous adherence to defined lifecycle processes and quality implementation objectives.

Support Configuration and Change Management processes with ongoing review/validation of product releases to support continuous improvement.

Execution Focused -

Drives towards defined objectives with realization that the 80/20 rule is critical to success of overall team objectives.

Able to make and support decisions based upon defined objectives, realizing that timely progress is a critical success factor.

Relationship Management -

Build long term, strategic relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders

Technical Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proven experience of VB.net, UiPath RPA, and SQL Server (T-SQL).

Other Skills:Ability to organize demands that may change regularly, balancing new development initiatives and production support.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging with all levels of management, end users, and vendors.
