Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Sr. Cloud System Administrator

to join our team at Redwire Space. A Leader in Space the aerospace industry a specializing in space infrastructure and technologies. Redwire focuses on providing solutions for space exploration, satellite servicing, in-space manufacturing, and other aspects of space-related activities. They offer a range of products and services, including spacecraft components, robotics, and advanced materials designed for the unique challenges of space environments. You will be responsible for the efficient management, maintenance, and optimization of our Microsoft and Azure cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, Microsoft technologies, and a proactive approach to ensure the reliability and security of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:Reports to the Infrastructure ManagerAzure Environment Management: Design, implement, and manage Azure virtual networks, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. Configure and maintain Azure Active Directory for user authentication and access control. Monitor and manage Azure resources to meet performance and availability objectivesImplement and manage Azure-based solutions utilizing Microsoft technologiesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft applications and servicesImplement and enforce security best practices across Azure environments to meet NIST and SOX complianceMonitor and respond to security incidents, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with industry standardsCollaborate with the security team to implement and enhance security policiesIdentify and implement strategies to optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and efficiencyConduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements based on analysisDevelop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for critical systems and dataRegularly test and validate the effectiveness of backup and recovery processesWork closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutionsDocument configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharingIdeal Experience:

Bachelor's degree in information systems or another closely related field. With 5 or more years' of experience. Willing to consider direct experience in lieu of degreeExperience with Microsoft Technologies: Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and TeamsExperience with Azure environments to meet NIST and SOX complianceExperience as a Microsoft/Azure Cloud AdministratorCurrent certifications in CompTia Security+(ce) and ISC2 CyberMicrosoft and Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)Desired Skills:

Strong knowledge of cloud computing principles and best practicesProficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automationExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills
