Company Overview:
We are a leading vascular surgery physician practice management organization based in the Northeast with a rapidly expanding presence and potential for national growth. Our organization is committed to delivering high-quality vascular care and advancing the field of vascular surgery through innovative treatments, state-of-the-art technology, and a collaborative approach. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and driven Physician Recruiter to join our team and help us identify and attract top-tier vascular surgeons to the platform. Job Overview:
The Physician Recruiter will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our organization by actively sourcing, screening, and recruiting highly qualified vascular surgeons. This individual will collaborate closely with our HR team, executive leadership, and clinical leadership to understand talent requirements, develop recruitment strategies, and build a strong pipeline of exceptional candidates. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the vascular surgery field (or, be willing to invest in learning it), excellent networking skills, and a proven track record of successful physician recruitment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract and retain highly skilled vascular surgeons and interventionalists.
Conduct thorough candidate sourcing activities, including but not limited to networking, job boards, social media, professional associations, and referrals.
Review and screen applications and resumes, conducting initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for the organization.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, keeping them engaged throughout the recruitment process and acting as a key point of contact.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with residency directors and fellowship leads; and, in turn, build relationships with residents and fellows to position the organization for consideration of their future job options.
Collaborate with department heads and executive leadership to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.
Participate in sourcing and then use various recruitment tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
Effectively track applicants to the recruiting funnel and prepare regular reports illustrating recruiting progress.
Attend industry conferences, events, and job fairs to network with potential candidates and promote the organization as an employer of choice.
Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and interviewers.
Conduct reference checks and verify credentials to ensure the accuracy and reliability of candidate information.
Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities to HR and executive leadership.
Increase brand awareness within the vascular surgery community by working with the clinical and marketing teams to develop and distribute educational materials.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the healthcare or medical field, with a focus on surgical or other interventional specialties.
Strong knowledge of the vascular surgery field, including an understanding of emerging trends and key opinion leaders.
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates at all levels.
Familiarity with recruitment tools and technologies, such as applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, and job boards.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences, including communication with the HR team and senior management.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and a results-driven mindset.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Flexibility to travel as needed for recruitment activities.
Familiarity with basic business tools; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to use databases to track candidates.
Join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization as we strive to provide exceptional vascular care and expand our footprint nationwide. Apply today to become a part of our exciting team
