Our global development is headquartered in California. For this location, we are seeking a passionate and highly self-motivated Engineering Manager to join our LiDAR management team. The ideal candidate has several years of either LiDAR, sensors or camera/optics and industry experience.We are looking for a solid technical and managerial background, ready to drive and shape Autonomous Mobility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report directly to the Head of the Product Line for ADAS
  • Lead our efforts to build and grow the global LiDAR Product Portfolio
  • Building, integrating and leading a highly educated engineering team to develop and launch a market-relevant high-quality product, taking full advantage of the potential in the global footprint of the business area autonomous mobility
  • Base development of our High Performance Long-Range LiDAR
  • Base development for our next generation Short-Range LiDAR
  • Adaptation/application of modules in all customer application projects
  • Align and implement functional/system/sensor roadmap and global footprint strategy
  • Ensure Quality Performance of the product through manufacturing and in the field
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/computer science/physics or comparable
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive engineering and/or application development as a tier 1 or 2 supplier in the automotive market
  • 3+ years of experience with complex, software-dominated automotive systems, preferably driver assistance systems
  • 7+ years of relevant professional working experience
  • Preferred to have relevant industry experience in the LiDAR, Sensors and/or Camera/Optics markets
