RN - New Grad Residency Program March 2026 Join the Scripps Health team as a Registered Nurse in our New Graduate Residency Program, starting March 23, 2026. This 40?week structured orientation is designed to smoothly transition new graduates into clinical practice, culminating in placement within the Scripps system upon successful completion. Program Overview Structured 40?week orientation with clinical coaches and preceptors. Development of competence, confidence, critical thinking, and documentation skills. Standardized practice and role transition facilitation. Completion leads to placement in a Scripps hospital. Key Responsibilities Cooperate with clinical coaches and preceptors for education and mentorship. Complete rotating assignments across participating units. Fulfill all documentation and nursing care requirements. Adhere to program schedule, including night and day shifts. Complete the HireVue on?Demand video interview as part of the application process. Eligibility & Requirements Current California RN license by program start date (Scripps is no longer accepting interim permits). BLS for Health Care Provider credential from the American Heart Association. ACLS may be required for selected units. Completed an accredited nursing program within the last 12 months or finishing before the program start date. Six (6) months or less of RN experience at the time of application. Willing to work both day and night shifts during the program and night shift after completion. No PTO during the 40?week program. BSN (preferred). Graduation at least 8 weeks before the program start date (preferred). Application & Interview Process Current employee application period: 11/30/2025 12/06/2025.
