Overview:

This position is responsible for the daily movement/scanning of the materials and doors through the production process including picking and assembling/putting loads together including the reading of blueprints; entering into AX, staging of raw material and moving work in process (WIP) from department to department. This position works closely with each department in order to meeting the production schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Gather/pull materials per daily production schedule * Efficiently stage and unload work areas * Determine when material substitutions can be allowed * Report missing materials * Consolidate warehouse space and make room as necessary to optimize * Organize and optimize space in limited areas through the plant * Constant communication with all departments * Follow safety and process procedures * Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

* Education: High School Diploma or GED * Experience: 2-3 years materials and forklift experience * Certifications/Licenses: Forklift * Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of handling materials

Knowledge of wood and skin species a plus

Ability to operator table saws, impact wrench, drills, barrel cart and hand tools

Knowledge of working with Bill of Materials (BOMs), receiving procedures and production schedules

Must be able to prioritize effectively

Excellent communication, organization and paperwork skills

Fast paced

Work independently with minimal supervision

Must have high attention to detail
